Job Description:

  • Perform both online and offline testing of finished products, work in progress (WIP), and raw materials to verify their quality and adherence to specifications.
  • Release WIP and bulk items after they have been tested, and work with the production team to address any discrepancies.
  • Examine non-compliant products, carry out root cause analyses, and suggest corrective measures.
  • Keep precise records and reports for quality assurance (QA). Regularly calibrate and check laboratory instruments and weighing scales.
  • Prepare product samples for client reviews and internal evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Job Specifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, or a related science field.

Experience:

  • At least a year of experience in a laboratory or QA role within a manufacturing company or FMCG environment.
  • Fresh graduates with laboratory internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in conducting chemical, physical, and other sensory food testing.
  • Knowledge of GLP, GMP and other food safety practices.
  • Experience in equipment calibration and using laboratory instruments.
  • Familiarity with QA documentation and laboratory reporting systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Solid technical knowledge in investigating and analyzing quality issues, especially within the food industry.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and suggest effective solutions.
  • Proficient in teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Capable of working independently, managing multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines.
