Duties and Responsibilitites:

  • To provide parents, teaching staff, students and other staff the complete and accurate information of CISM School fees including other fees related to other school activities.
  • To receive and account properly all payments in cash, checks, bank transfer and other forms of payment. Issue an official payment receive that pertains to after school activities.
  • Organize all collection reports daily and ensure that all collected monies are deposited in the bank daily on specified time of deposit.
  • Provide daily collection reports of all collections and deposit for the purpose of bank reconciliation reports preparation. Any discrepancy must be properly accounted and documented for the purpose of audit.
  • Provide list of students paid and unpaid accounts for field trips and other school activities that has collection.
  • Maintain available change fund in the amount of PhP 3, The amount is intended and for the purpose of official transactions of the cashier only.
  • Follow up the payment of any uncollected or unpaid bills of the students. Prepare and provide the second notice of the statement of account as needed. Inform and provide reports to the Chief Financial Officer for the unpaid accounts that have passed beyond the due dates.
  • Releasing of all check for payments of the school to various suppliers, contractors, professional, etc. and ensure that all payment and documents are properly receipted and received.
  • Updating of the financial records by encoding and updating all transactions in the system.
  • Maintain and update the records of the Cash Receipt Book (CRB) daily.
  • Maintain the ledger of all issued checks to suppliers and various payees.
  • Maintain daily records of US Dollar rate based on Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas website for the purpose of tuition fee conversion for parents paying in US Dollar Currency.
  • Monitor the Daily Maintaining Balance (DMB) of CISM savings account with Banco De Oro (BDO).

Others:

  • Adheres to the school and/or staff handbook and conducts one's actions and behaviour accordingly.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
