About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer with strong Python/Django expertise and hands-on experience with AWS services. You will be responsible for building scalable and secure backend systems, integrating APIs, and deploying applications in cloud environments. This role requires a developer who is comfortable managing server-side logic, optimizing performance, and collaborating closely with frontend developers and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend applications using Python/Django.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications using AWS services such as Lambda, MediaConvert, and API Gateway.
  • Optimize backend performance, including caching, database queries, and asynchronous processing.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Write automated tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with Python and Django framework (3+ years preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, MediaConvert, API Gateway.
  • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams; familiarity with Jira, Trello, or similar tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with serverless architecture and AWS best practices.
  • Experience with authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2).
  • Exposure to frontend technologies (React, Vue, etc.) is a plus.
