Delfines Hotel Management Corp. founded on February 27, 2017, is a young hotel management company gearing towards a complete leisure experience that is reaching out to different generations. The company currently owns Grand Blue Beach Hotel in Boracay, El Nido Garden Beach Resort.
We are now hiring Accountant, below is the job description for your reference.
1、Multi-Unit Financial Coordination & Consolidation:
- Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and on-site accounting teams across managed hotel properties.
- Collect, review, and consolidate financial data (e.g., daily reports, trial balances, tax filings) submitted by local hotel accountants.
- Ensure timely submission and accuracy of financial information from all properties according to head office deadlines.
- Standardize accounting practices and reporting formats across properties in compliance with PFRS and BIR regulations.
- Analyze consolidated financial statements for management reporting.
2、Tax Compliance & Reporting:
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns accurately and on time as required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), including but not limited to:
- Value Added Tax (VAT) Returns (BIR Form 2550M/Q)
- Expanded Withholding Tax (EWT) Returns (BIR Form 1601E/1601EQ/1601F)
- Withholding Tax on Compensation (BIR Form 1601C)
- Percentage Tax (if applicable)
- Annual Income Tax Return (BIR Form 1702)
- Ensure timely remittance of taxes withheld and taxes due.
- Maintain organized and complete tax records and documentation for BIR audits.
3、Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely periodic financial reports (daily revenue flash, weekly summaries, monthly financial statements - P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Generate management reports and ad-hoc financial analyses as requested by the Finance Manager or Management.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
4、Fixed Asset Management:
- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Record acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation of fixed assets according to company policy and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
- Coordinate physical asset verifications.
5、Payroll Processing Support (Often in Collaboration with HR):
- Collect and verify timesheets or attendance data.
- Calculate wages, overtime, holiday pay, and other earnings/deductions in compliance with Philippine Labor Law.
- Process statutory contributions and deductions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, Withholding Tax - BIR Form 1601C) accurately and on time.
- Prepare payroll reports and distribute payslips.
6、Statutory Contributions:
- Prepare and remit monthly contributions for SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG on behalf of employees and the employer.
- File corresponding reports with these agencies.
7、Ad-hoc Tasks & Leadership Support:
- Execute additional accounting, financial analysis, or project-based tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor or Finance Management.
- Prepare specialized reports, presentations, or data extracts as required for strategic decision-making.
- Assist in implementing new accounting systems, policies, or process improvements across the hotel portfolio.
- Provide support during internal/external audits at the corporate level.
