Job Summary:

The Warehouse Staff will support the day-to-day functions of the production by ensuring efficient and effective operational processes. The role is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels.

Kay Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Control & Management

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply.
  • Timely recording of inventory movements using the ERP
  • Conduct Monthly physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
  • Identify and eliminate obsolete or excess inventory.
  • Forecast demand based on sales trends, seasonality, and market changes

2. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory status for reporting to senior management

3. Purchase Request & Replenishment

  • Coordinate with purchasing staff to reorder stock as needed, identify and inform which is are critical or for immediate need.
  • Generate Purchase Request using ERP.
  • Set and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels with the help of production head.
  • Create and submit timely reports on Inventory supplier problems - delay, bad quality, lack of quantity so that Purchasing can block suppliers and quickly find another supplier.

4. Compliance & Accuracy

  • Ensure inventory practices comply with company policies, industry/govt regulations, and client-set standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for audits and financial reporting.

5. Collaboration & Communication

  • Communicate with production, sales and logistics teams to align inventory needs.
  • Communicate inventory status and issues timely, clearly and transparently.
  • Handle inventory-related queries from internal departments or customers/clients.

6. Cost Control

  • Reduce holding costs (by removing unnecessary inventory) and improve inventory turnover (by making sure inventory is used in the most efficient way).
  • Minimize losses from spoilage (or expired), theft, or obsolescence.
  • Optimize ordering to leverage volume discounts while minimizing excess stock.

7. Safety and cleanliness: Follow safety protocols, handle hazardous materials properly, and keep the warehouse clean and organized.

8*. Support production*: Deliver materials to production lines as needed and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation

Qualifications and Skills

  • Vocational diploma or any Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • At least 2-3 years experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment

and inventory management.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with other warehouse staff and supervisors to achieve operational goals.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, database and systems is an advantage
  • Good organizational and management skills
  • Strong work ethics
