About the Role
Ayala Malls is seeking a digitally savvy and strategically minded
Senior Associate – Social Media & Content Strategy
to lead content planning and development across social media and other owned digital platforms. This role is part of the Brand Communications team and plays a key role in ensuring cohesive storytelling, campaign amplification, and audience engagement.
You will be responsible for shaping the brand's digital voice and driving content strategies that engage communities and customers and elevate the brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Digital Content Strategy
- Lead the development of content strategies and calendars across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, emerging channels) and owned digital platforms (e.g., website), ensuring alignment with brand messaging, campaign goals, and audience engagement strategies.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the social media agency and other external partners, ensuring timely publishing, real-time content activation, and consistent, high-quality execution across platforms.
- Guide the creation of multimedia content (e.g., short-form videos, carousels, reels, web banners) in partnership with creatives and external agencies.
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging across all digital touchpoints.
- Monitor platform trends, audience behavior, and performance metrics to inform ongoing strategy and optimization.
Paid Media Collaboration
- Work closely with the Performance Marketing Manager to align organic content with paid digital media efforts, and provide strategic content support to enhance campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze content performance across platforms in collaboration with the Corporate Marketing Data Team
- Generate actionable insights and regular reports to guide content planning, optimization, and future campaign strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Communications & PR team, other Corporate Marketing units, and Mall Marketing teams to amplify media events, influencer collaborations, and support integrated campaigns, seasonal activations, and community-driven initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in social media management, content strategy, or digital marketing.
- Proven experience managing content across multiple platforms, including websites and social media.
- Strong understanding of content performance metrics, social media analytics, and SEO principles.
- Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
- Experience in retail, lifestyle, or consumer brands is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite) and CMS platforms.
- Experience working with or managing external agencies.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, collaborative, and respectful of diverse perspectives.
