Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role supports the Process Senior Specialist/Team Leader in managing day-to-day AR operations, ensuring the accuracy of customer accounts and financial records. You'll also assist in reconciliations, reporting, and other general finance activities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process and allocate customer payments to accounts and invoices daily.
  • Investigate and resolve unapplied or unallocated cash with Sales and Collections.
  • Issue manual invoices, debit notes, and credit notes (mainly intercompany).
  • Monitor and maintain AR aging reports and ledgers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing and collection issues.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliations, including bad debt schedules.
  • Support other finance functions such as Accounts Payable when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent.
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Can work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.
