Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control construction project costs from planning to completion.
  • Prepare and maintain cost reports and budget variance analyses.
  • Review budgets, contracts, purchase orders, and financial records for compliance.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and accounting teams to ensure cost accuracy.
  • Track expenses for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and value engineering.
  • Support management in cash flow forecasting and financial risk assessment.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly cost reports and project financial summaries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in cost control or project controls within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgeting, and financial systems.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and project management/accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills for coordination across teams.
  • A licensed Civil Engineer or Certified Cost Professional is an advantage.
