We are looking for a
Building Engineer
to join our team and support the Chief Engineer in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operations of all mall building systems. This role is critical in maintaining our facilities through preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting sustainability initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, escalators, and fire protection systems.
  • Implement the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule and conduct routine inspections and equipment checks.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor energy and water usage, supporting sustainability and efficiency programs.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors during maintenance or project works.
  • Assist in the implementation of CAPEX projects, including surveys, documentation, and site monitoring.
  • Respond to technical emergencies such as outages, fire alarms, and system failures.
  • Prepare and submit maintenance logs, downtime reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with the engineering team to improve maintenance practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Licensed Engineer (required).
  • Minimum of
    3 years of experience
    in the electro-mechanical industry or property management.
  • Strong knowledge of building operations, codes, and regulations.
  • Skilled in handling multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and engineering software (SAP, CADD, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
