Contracts Officer

Under the direct supervision of the Supply Chain and Contracts Manager, supervises and oversees the functions of Contracts Section and coordinates with the manager concerned, in the awarding of, and terminates of existing contracts, as well as in sourcing-out new contractor for various trades.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handles the costing of in-house subcontractor works for man-hours and tariffs in building and repair projects in order to determine the necessary budget for subcontracted work or project.
- Performs administrative support by assisting in the formulation and development of plans and programs to achieve the goals and negotiation of Contracts Section.
- Provides administrative assistance by supervising the deployment of personnel to specific duties and task in order to coordinate with other operating department or section within the Company.
- Assists the Supply Chain and Contracts Manager by meeting with sub-contractors, in coordination with Project Managers and Production Managers, to determine the awarding of, and terminating of contracts and in monitoring compliance with company rules and regulations.
- Monitors and controls all sub-contracted jobs and ensures that all farmed-out jobs are properly covered by the required standard company documents.
Requirements:
- Graduate of any Business or Engineering Course.
- With knowledge, background or experience in meeting and handling sub-contractors.
- Experience in purchasing department or contracts department is a plus.
