The Corporate HSE Officer provides assistance to the HSE Supervisor & Manager in the implementation of HSE programs and protocols within the identified area of assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Engineering or any related course
  • Knowledgeable in doing graphics and research.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • With a minimum of at least 6 months of relevant experience in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • With BOSH/COSH, PCO and other specialized related training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide essential assistance to the HSE supervisor in the implementation of HSE protocols within the identified area of assignment.
  • Increase tracking and monitoring of HSE hazards, risks, reporting and investigation.
  • Ensure that all employees, service providers, visitors and all individuals working for the company are knowledgeable and aware of the plant's health and safety rules and regulations and other training related to their respective positions and purposes.
  • Strengthen the engagement of HSE with all Departments.
  • Increase the internal training and communication awareness program.
  • Assist in compliance programs and other SHEER plants to Safety Officers, Pollution and conduct SHEER training/awareness programs.
  • Assist in government compliance and HSE KPI's compliance wherein data have to be secured from concerned business units.
  • Conduct performance audit on HSE Compliance.
  • Participate in planning for the training needs based on government and company requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits (scheduled and random inspections) for monitoring of HSE compliance of plants within the area of assignment.
  • Coordinate with the heads of various BIVMC business units as well as the HSE representatives per area (PCOs, First Aiders etc.)
  • Assist in the management statistical review and analysis of injury and incident reports. Handle recording of unsafe acts and conditions, accidents, near misses, and loss.
