Role Overview:

The Legal Counsel serves as the business team's legal partner, providing expert advice and support across corporate, commercial, and compliance matters. The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, managing corporate housekeeping, overseeing business set-ups and investments, and ensuring regulatory and data privacy compliance across Inspire Brands Asia's Southeast Asian markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Provide legal support for mergers & acquisitions, franchising, and corporate transactions.
  • Oversee corporate secretarial and compliance functions, including SEC filings and corporate governance requirements.
  • Implement compliance frameworks, policies, and data privacy practices aligned with regional and local regulations.
  • Liaise with government agencies, regulators, and external counsel to ensure full legal compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the Philippines.
  • Minimum of 
    5 years PQE
     in corporate or commercial law, ideally from a reputable firm or in-house legal team.
  • Proven experience in 
    contract review and drafting
    , 
    regulatory compliance
    , and 
    data privacy
    .
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and investment laws; experience in M&A or franchising preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
