About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at the Manila Bankers Assurance office in Lucena City, Quezon. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and efficiently processing financial transactions. Your role will be vital in maintaining the smooth day-to-day operations of our retail banking branch.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Accurately processing cash, cheque, and credit/debit card transactions
  3. Balancing cash drawers and ensuring the security of funds
  4. Responding to customer inquiries and providing information on our products and services
  5. Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
  6. Adhering to all company policies and procedures
  7. Collaborating with the wider team to provide a seamless customer experience

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role, preferably within the retail or banking industry
  2. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate financial transactions
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality customer service
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  5. Proficient in using cash registers, computers, and other office equipment
  6. A friendly, patient, and helpful attitude towards customers
