What you'll be doing

  • Developing, implementing and monitoring quality assurance and control procedures
  • Conducting regular inspections and testing to identify and resolve any quality issues
  • Collaborating with project managers, site engineers and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations
  • Maintaining detailed records and reporting on quality metrics and performance
  • Providing training and guidance to the construction team on quality best practices
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing corrective actions
  • Ensuring all projects adhere to relevant industry codes, standards and safety requirements

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year' experience in a quality assurance and control role within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and testing procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in using quality management software and data analysis tools
