The Medical Encoder accurately encodes patient records, ensures data quality, and collaborates with the team for seamless data management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Encode patient records, including laboratory result values, prescriptions, and receipts, with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
  • Uses encoded information and consults program rules to determine patient eligibility for medical benefits (e.g. document validity, HMO membership status)
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the patient database
  • Identify and flag outliers or potential data issues for review
  • Ensure that all documents are encoded accurately, as they play a vital role in informing patient treatment plans and supporting medical professionals
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless data management

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, including Google Sheets and Google Docs
  • Entry-level role that is open to fresh graduates or those with up to 1 year of experience in data encoding or a related field
  • Must work onsite in Makati
