KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Strategy & Selection

  • Curate and manage a high-performing product assortment that reflects brand positioning, trend relevance, and target market preferences.
  • Make data-informed decisions on new product introductions, discontinuations, and seasonal offerings.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development, offline, and marketing teams to ensure timely launches and replenishments.

Inventory & Sales Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock availability across physical and digital channels.
  • Analyze product sell-through, category performance, and market demand to inform restocking and markdown strategies.
  • Lead monthly sales forecasting and inventory planning in collaboration with finance and operations.

Reporting & Reconciliation

  • Submit accurate and timely reports on product performance, returns, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Oversee regular reconciliation of physical inventory with system records to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Present data-driven insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Market & Trend Research

  • Stay updated on global and local beauty trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
  • Use insights to guide product selection, pricing strategies, and merchandising direction.

Supplier & Vendor Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners to negotiate favorable terms, lead times, and product exclusives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely product delivery and quality control.

Visual Merchandising & Retail Alignment

  • Oversee the execution of in-store and online merchandising strategies to ensure brand consistency.
  • Coordinate with retail teams for proper implementation of planograms, displays, and seasonal campaigns.

Campaign & Promo Coordination

  • Work with the E-commerce and Marketing teams to develop and support promotional campaigns, bundles, and limited-edition drops.
  • Recommend pricing and promotional strategies based on market positioning and sales history.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and train merchandising officers or assistants, fostering continuous development and team alignment.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Marketing, E-commerce, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure cohesive execution of merchandising plans.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in merchandising, inventory planning, or buying — preferably in the beauty, cosmetics, fashion, or retail industries.
  • At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to analyze sales trends, forecast demand, and use data to drive results.
  • Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of consumer behavior, pricing strategies, and category management.
  • Attention to Detail: Precise in inventory tracking, product listings, and report generation.
  • System Proficiency: Knowledge of inventory management systems, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, and POS or ERP tools.
  • Supplier & Vendor Management: Skilled in negotiation, coordination, and maintaining business relationships.
  • Trend Awareness: Passionate about beauty, with a pulse on local and international trends relevant to the Filipino market
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication in both English and Filipino.
  • Leadership: Proactive, organized, and capable of guiding a team toward operational and creative excellence.

  • Language: Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
