We are seeking a skilled HOSPITAL AUDITOR to join our team and contribute to our mission of advancing health and wellness by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial and operational practices.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Conduct audits of financial statements, internal controls (such as reconciliation of bank statements to records, accounting systems, billing, and inventory
  • Inspect account books and financial records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare audit reports detailing findings, risks, and recommendations.
  • Assess risk management procedures and suggest improvements.
  • Perform follow-up audits to verify corrective actions have been implemented.
  • Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and controls.
  • Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, and ensure timely payments (if applicable).
  • Perform a post-event audit to validate the authenticity (checking the receipts, if official and issued by legitimate vendors)
  • Assess market fairness by comparing the submitted costs with prevailing market rates to detect overpricing or fraud
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and controls
  • Organize and maintain client documentation in a manner consistent with safekeeping practice
  • Check and validate the daily cash vouchers and emergency purchases, ensuring proper authorization by checking signatures
  • Flag any discrepancies or unauthorized approvals

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience: 2–5 years of auditing experience (internal or external), preferably within a healthcare or hospital environment.

Expertise: In-depth knowledge of audit principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.

Skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis, audit software, and report generation.

Certification: Must possess a valid CPA license.
