Overview:

Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor based in SG, the incumbent is responsible in managing accounting operations, month/year-end closing of books, account reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary liaison with the Finance team regards to the General ledger, issues relating to the accounts and tax compliance.
  • Coordination of the month end activities and year end audit.
  • Responsible in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
  • Responsible for initial payroll review once submitted by the HR to Finance department and communicating the results within the department involved
  • Update financial data in accounting system to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Prepares working paper and/or schedule of data needed for monthly, quarterly, and annual BIR Compliances; Helps with tax filing and annual audit of financial statements
  • Proper documentation and/or archiving of supporting documents e.g. Tax returns generated from EFPS, and corresponding BIR required attachments.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other ad hoc and related duties which may be assigned by the superiors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business courses or related field
  • Proficient in MS Word/ Excel/ Powerpoint
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to details and has good problem solving skills
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of initiative and able to work with the least supervision
  • Good acknowledge of local compliance
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and multitasking person; Deadline-oriented person
