With this, the following requirements will be required prior the on-boarding:Minimum of 25mbps internet speed (actual bandwidth via speed test) *higher than 25mbps would be required if there will be other people in the household who would be either working from home or heavily using the internet during your shiftDedicated space or room with good ventilation for the PC set-up.Table that can fit two 24" monitors and a chair, ideally positioned close to the outlet and internet modemWork from home location is within NCR.What are some of the responsibilities?Design, creation, and maintenance of UI and API test scriptsDocument test cases using Xray Test ManagementDevelop Cucumber Test Scripts to sustain >80% automated test coverage; peer reviewExtend test coverage by documenting and automating test cases from production bugsAnalyze Runlists to identify long running steps or processes that can be tuned and optimizedContribute to test case design and test planning discussionsParticipate as a member of a scrum team, work with software engineers across scrum teamsApply software design principles to create UI test scriptsIntegrate test automation and maintain CICD across environmentsDefine data, rules, and testing requirementsCreate, set up, and maintain test dataSet up and modify test company for automationPerform manual testing as neededCollaborate with product and tech owners to clarify product and system requirementsEvaluate failing tests to determine the root causeWhat are the ideal requirements?Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Software Engineering, or any related course.5+ years relevant work experienceBasic understanding of software as a serviceExperience applying testing and quality practices such as Test Case documentation, Test Plans, Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, Test Coverage, Defect DetectionProficient in scripting tests using Cucumber (Gherkin)Comfortable working with testing tools such as Xray, HP Quality Center, TestRail, Eclipse IDE, Gitlab, Selenium, Postman, and SoapUIExperience with programming languages such as Java, XML, HTML, CSS; Javascript is a plusComfortable documenting and tracking project work with ALM tools such as Jira and ConfluenceExperience working with Distributed Version Control Systems such as GitComfortable using Windows, Linux, and iOSExperience with AWS, docker, Jest, SQL, and Liquibase is a plusAbility to troubleshoot failing tests with limited informationExperience defining, estimating, and tracking test automation workStrong understanding of CI/CD practicesStrong oral and written communication skills; international client correspondence is a plusKeen attention to detail
