Job Description:

The Substation Tender (Operator) is responsible for operating, and monitoring electrical switchgear (Medium to Low Voltage ~ AC & DC Equipment) and equipment within a substation. The role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the power distribution system, performing switching operations, and responding to faults or alarms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor switchgears/equipment
  • Perform switching operations following safety procedures
  • Monitor substation equipment and system parameters
  • Report faults or irregularities to the Operation Controller HEAD
  • Maintain logs and records of operations and incidents

Requirements:

  • Technical diploma or certificate in Electrical or Power Systems
  • Knowledge of high-voltage equipment and safety standards
  • Experience in substation or power plant operations preferred, (preferred REE or RME)

  • Working Hours/Days: 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday to Saturday
  • Employment Type: Project-based
  • Deployment: 1 Sub/s Tender : 1 Station
  • PSS or Third Rail team will handle them at all times (Operation Controller Head)
