  • Establishes business units and a table of accounts and assigns them to the proper accounts.
  • Analyzes records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries.
  • Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other financial reports.
  • Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations, and divisions.
  • Reports and advises on the organization's financial status.
  • Develops, implements, modifies, and documents accounting systems.
  • Adapt accounting and recordkeeping functions to current computerized accounting systems technology.
  • Conducts special studies, develops or recommends enhancements to accounting methods and procedures.
  • Utilizes a computer to input, retrieve, or display accounting information.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable GAAP accounting principles and policies.
  • Maintains satisfactory attendance, including timeliness.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of accounting, finance, audit, economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility, or Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of finance, accounting, audit, economics, statistics or mathematics experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of public audit or accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Computer skill requirements include: Intermediate MS Word, Excel, and basic PowerPoint.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if
    applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Must be willing to work night shift schedules (US hours) and during PH Holidays.
  • Must be able to work at Alabang, Muntinlupa when work in the office resumes (temp WFH).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Accounting plus 4 years of Finance or Accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or Bachelor's degree in Accounting plus 6 years of Finance or Accounting experience, including experience in a Public Accounting firm reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • CPA license.
  • Possesses and applies broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in the accounting field of specialization.
  • Skilled in reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional and technical journals, and financial reports. Skilled in responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Skilled in effectively presenting information to top management, clients, and customers.
  • Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
  • Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Skilled in applying mathematical operations to such tasks as the determination of reliability and validity, variance, and trend analysis techniques.
  • Skilled in completing assignments that are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity, with appreciable latitude for actions and decisions.
