
Secure Access Management Support

We are seeking a detail-oriented and disciplined Secure Access Management Support (Entry Level) professional to assist in the provisioning, deprovisioning, and administration of user access rights across banking systems and infrastructure. This role is essential in upholding information security principles by ensuring users have appropriate, timely, and auditable access aligned with the organization's policies and compliance standards.
This is an ideal role for candidates starting their IT career, especially those with an interest in security operations, identity and access management (IAM), or infrastructure support in a highly regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:1. User Account Provisioning & Deprovisioning
- Create user accounts for branch systems, servers, and banking applications based on approved requests.
- Disable or remove accounts for separated or unauthorized users.
- Assign access based on defined role matrices and principles of least privilege.
- Manage and update access control lists (ACLs) for systems and applications.
- Apply and enforce password and access policies in line with organizational security standards.
- Support access configuration updates during deployments and changes.
- Process access requests, changes, and removals via ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
- Validate request approvals according to IT security and banking compliance policies.
- Ensure full traceability of all access-related actions for audit readiness.
- Assist in periodic access reviews and reporting on user permissions.
- Help identify inactive, orphaned, or inappropriate accounts and escalate accordingly.
- Support the preparation of audit evidence for internal and external compliance reviews.
- Issue, revoke, or reset authentication tokens, SSH keys, and MFA devices.
- Ensure secure handling, storage, and transfer of credentials in compliance with encryption standards.
- Set up access rights for new branch servers and systems during deployment phases.
- Ensure OS-level access matches the predefined Access Rights Matrix (OSARM).
- Provide early-life access support for newly launched branches.
- Assist in investigating and documenting access-related incidents.
- Escalate suspected unauthorized access or policy violations.
- Help resolve access lockouts or errors in collaboration with service desk teams.
- Maintain up-to-date logs and access records.
- Update access SOPs and onboarding/offboarding checklists.
- Provide clear handover documentation for BAU (business-as-usual) support teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields.
- Alternative: Associate degree or vocational/technical certification with relevant experience.
- 0–2 years in IT support, helpdesk, or access/security administration.
- Exposure to account lifecycle processes (joiners, movers, leavers).
Familiarity with change management and audit traceability is an advantage.
Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts:
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Least privilege principles
- Account provisioning and deprovisioning
Familiarity with:
Active Directory / LDAP
- Windows Server or Linux OS access control
- MFA and SSO processes
- Secure Shell (SSH) and key management
- Service ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira SM, BMC Remedy)
- Awareness of compliance policies in banking or regulated environments is a plus.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to strictly follow procedures and avoid unauthorized changes.
- Clear and professional communication with technical and non-technical teams.
- Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive access credentials.
- Ability to work under pressure, especially during deployment and change windows.
- CompTIA Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- IAM or cybersecurity micro-credentials (Coursera, edX, vendor platforms)
- Be part of a high-impact team responsible for safeguarding access across critical banking systems.
