Recruitment Officer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Healthcare Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment and pre-onboarding for NDIS-compliant roles. This position is critical

to ensuring that all healthcare professionals meet the standards of the National

Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and are fully prepared to deliver high-quality

support services.

Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition


• Source, screen, and interview candidates for disability support roles, allied

health, and administrative positions


• Build and maintain candidate pipelines for high-demand roles across NDIS

service areas


• Collaborate with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs and design role

profiles


• Manage job postings across platforms and recruitment channels


• Conduct reference checks and employment history verification

Pre-Onboarding & Compliance


• Oversee the pre-onboarding process to ensure all legal and NDIS

requirements are met


• Collect and verify mandatory documentation (see below)


• Coordinate training schedules and induction plans


• Ensure candidates complete required modules and certifications before start

date


• Maintain accurate records in HRIS and compliance systems

Workforce Planning & Reporting


• Monitor recruitment KPIs, turnover rates, and onboarding timelines


• Support internal audits and external reviews related to NDIS workforce

compliance


• Provide regular reports to HR and Operations teams

Qualifications & Skills


• Minimum 3–5 years of healthcare recruitment experience


• Familiarity with NDIS workforce standards and compliance


• Strong organizational and communication skills


• Experience with HRIS, ATS, and scheduling platforms


• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setup

Preferred


• Experience recruiting for Australian healthcare clients


• Knowledge of Fair Work Act and Australian employment law


• Background in disability services or allied health recruitment
