About the role

Bicutan Container Corporation is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our tin can manufacturing facility in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Plant Manager, you will be responsible for leading a talented team to ensure the efficient and cost-effective production of our high-quality tin containers.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement production plans to meet sales targets and customer demands

  • Oversee the maintenance and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment

  • Monitor production KPIs and make data-driven decisions to optimise efficiency

  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of skilled production personnel

  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve profitability

  • Identify and implement process improvements and innovative solutions

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Plant Manager or in a senior production leadership role in the manufacturing industry

  • Strong technical knowledge of tin can production processes and equipment

  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement

  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities

  • Proficient in interpreting production data and using it to inform strategic decisions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams

  • Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field
