The Plant Auditors will be responsible in ensuring financial integrity, cost efficiency, and operational accountability. Additionally, the role involves preparing regulatory federal orders, assisting with audits, and providing reports on plant operations to effectively address production-related issues.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial records related to operations, inventory, and resource usage.
  • Analyze cost drivers such as materials, labor, and overhead to support profitability.
  • Assist with financial close processes and prepare reconciliations and variance analyses.
  • Develop and share reports to highlight trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Support audit processes by providing documentation and operational insights.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of inventory and production systems to ensure accuracy.
  • Monitor compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and optimize resources.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and variance analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable financial systems and processes.
  • Ensure proper segregation of duties and monitor system controls.
  • Conduct internal audits and document financial workflows and control procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experienced in cost accounting, auditing, or financial analysis in a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Familiarity with dairy operations and federal milk order compliance is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of waste management practices and environmental compliance standards.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
