About the role

CREST Forwarder, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sr. Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Cebu City, Cebu. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our logistics and transport services. With a focus on driving efficiency, safety and exceptional customer service, you will be instrumental in the overall success of our Cebu-based operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the operations team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of logistics and transport services
  2. Monitor key performance indicators and implement process improvements to optimise operations and enhance productivity
  3. Manage daily workforce planning, scheduling and allocation to meet customer requirements
  4. Liaise with clients, vendors and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns promptly
  5. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and safety standards
  6. Provide coaching, training and support to the operations team to develop their skills and capabilities
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align operations with the overall business strategy

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the logistics, transport or shipping industry. Experience in freight forwarding is an advantage.
  2. Strong operational management skills with the ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
  4. Proven track record of driving process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency
  5. Familiar with relevant industry regulations, safety protocols and quality standards
  6. Proficient in costing analysis.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
