Key Responsibilities:

  • Record and post daily collections and guest payments in the accounting system
  • Prepare and issue billing statements, invoices, and official receipts to guests
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Reconcile guest accounts and resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding billing concerns and payment status
  • Assist in preparing monthly and year-end AR schedules and reports
  • Maintain accurate and organized filing of all AR-related documents
  • Support in the preparation of audit requirements related to receivables
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Perform other related accounting tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • At least one to two (1-2) years of accounting experience handling Accounts Receivables or General Accounting in a hotel is preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and reconciliation procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
