Job summary:

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's / College Degree in Accountancy
  • CPA license is an advantage
  • At least 3 years' cumulative experience in general / transactional accounting
  • Experience in any cloud-based accounting system is an advantage
  • Good understanding of business and risk management issues
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast – paced work environment and can handle multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to in-house systems
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision needed
  • With excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Description

  • Ensures that transaction processing and reviews are performed accurately and in a timely manner
  • On top of an Associate's duties and responsibilities, Lead Associate is expected to work independently and to perform more complex accounting functions including reviews
  • Reviews all accounting and document management processes performed by the Document Management Team
  • Assists in supervising and performing extensive reviews of team members
  • Assists in the preparation of client-time budgets
  • Coordinates with Team Leader and other team members in order to properly manage workload distribution
  • Ensure proper and timely communication with clients including follow-up of client deliverables
  • Identifies and proposes process improvements
  • Performs other ad-hoc tasks and projects
