Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recording and Filing:
  • Assist in encoding and recording financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Help organize and file accounting documents such as invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Support the preparation and monitoring of payables and receivables.
  • Assist in preparing payment vouchers and billing statements.
  • Data Encoding and Verification:
  • Encode financial data accurately into spreadsheets or accounting software.
  • Help verify and reconcile entries to ensure accuracy.
  • Financial Reports:
  • Assist in preparing simple financial reports and summaries for management use.
  • Support month-end and year-end accounting activities.
  • Bank Transactions:
  • Assist in recording deposits, withdrawals, and other bank-related transactions.
  • Inventory and Petty Cash Monitoring:
  • Help track petty cash expenses and inventory records.
  • Other Administrative Support:
  • Provide clerical support to the Accounting Department as needed.
  • Participate in other finance-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
