Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Senior In-House Counsel, providing strategic legal guidance on land acquisition, titling, and land use conversion, while ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

  • Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence on land properties, including verification of ownership, land classification, encumbrances, and potential legal risks.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, deeds, and other legal documents related to land acquisition and conversion.

  • Represent the company in administrative and judicial proceedings on land issues such as ownership disputes, expropriation, or conversion denials.

  • Liaise with government agencies, landowners, and stakeholders to obtain permits, resolve legal barriers, and facilitate smooth transactions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must have a law degree and a valid license to practice law.

  • At least 5 years of legal experience, including 3+ years focused on land acquisition, real estate, or agrarian law.

  • Strong knowledge of land classification, conversion, registration, and agrarian reform laws.

  • Proven track record in litigating land disputes (e.g., ownership, tenancy, expropriation) and handling legal documentation for land transactions.

  • Experienced in due diligence, contract negotiation, and representation before agencies such as DAR, DENR, LRA, as well as in court.

  • Highly organized and articulate, capable of managing multiple legal matters and coordinating with various stakeholders; willing to travel as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
