Key Responsibilities:

  • Security & Governance Frameworks: Design, implement, and manage security governance models, frameworks, and policies that align with corporate strategy, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Monitor adherence to internal security policies, regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT), and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Security Monitoring & Performance: Define and track key security metrics, controls, and performance indicators; ensure effective incident detection, reporting, and remediation.
  • Change & Access Control Oversight: Govern change management and access control processes to minimize risks and ensure compliance with security and governance policies.
  • Process Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives across IT security and governance functions, leveraging ITIL, NIST CSF, and other industry frameworks.
  • Audit & Reporting: Prepare for and support internal and external security audits; ensure timely documentation, evidence collection, and remediation activities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with IT leadership, compliance teams, and business units to align governance and security initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Tooling & Automation: Recommend and implement security governance tools and automation technologies to enhance compliance, monitoring, and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in IT security, governance, risk, or compliance roles
  • Strong knowledge of security and governance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL
  • Experience with security monitoring tools, GRC platforms, and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Archer, BMC Remedy)
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Certification(s) preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, ITIL, or equivalent

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in cloud security governance (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, or CI/CD security practices
  • Exposure to enterprise risk management (ERM) systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php150, Php180,000.00 per month
