The Role: Company Nurse (RN)n - On-Site

The Company Nurse is responsible for providing basic healthcare services to employees, promotingworkplace health and safety, and ensuring compliance with occupational health standards. The roleinvolves administering first aid, maintaining medical records, supporting health and wellness initiatives,and coordinating with government agencies to comply with occupational health regulations. TheCompany Nurse also assists in ensuring a safe work environment through health surveillance, emergencyresponse readiness, and collaboration with the company's Safety Committee.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provide immediate medical attention and first aid treatment to employees who become injuredor ill during work hours.
  • valuate employee health complaints, determine necessary care, and recommend further medical attention when required.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential medical records of all employees.
  • Administer and monitor prescribed medications, as authorized, and ensure safe storage of medical supplies.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and replenishment of clinic supplies, medicines, and equipment.
  • Assist in the implementation of health programs such as annual physical examinations, flu vaccinations, and wellness campaigns.
  • Coordinate with company physicians, accredited hospitals, and health service providers for medical consultations and referrals.
  • Support the Safety Committee in implementing health and safety initiatives, workplace inspections, and emergency preparedness activities.
  • Ensure compliance with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) requirements on occupational health standards.
  • Assist in evaluating employees' fitness to work from pre- employment medical check and following absences due to illness or injury of employees.
  • Provide health education and counseling to employees on proper hygiene, ergonomics, and lifestyle management.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on medical cases, clinic activities, and health-related statistics to HR, Management and LGUs.
  • Assist HR in administering HMO-related medical documentation and employee health records as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee health information in accordance with company policies and the Data Privacy Act.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid PRC License.
  • At least 1–3 years of experience as a Company Nurse, preferably in a BPO or similar fast-paced environment.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards and workplace medical protocols.
  • Basic life support (BLS) and first aid certification is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in maintaining medical records and preparing health reports.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to handle employee interactions with empathy and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work onsite and on shifting schedules as required by operations.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling medical and personal employee information.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with HR and Safety teams

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php45, Php60,000.00 per month
