Job Description

The AI Engineer will play a key role in the development and optimization of the company's no-code AI platform and component-based workflows. Rather than focusing on model training or fine-tuning, the role emphasizes building reusable, configurable, and scalable AI-powered components that can be orchestrated by users without writing code.

Working closely with senior leadership and the engineering team, the AI Engineer will implement advanced workflow patterns, multi-agent logic, evaluation mechanisms, and performance monitoring tools that power real-world business applications.

Location Preference:

This role is open to candidates based in the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan or Singapore and will support full remote work.

Shift: Day time 9 - 6pm Philippines time

Permanent position with HMO and PTO

Roles & Responsibilities
  1. Develop and optimize backend systems for AI workflow orchestration (retrieval, chaining, evaluation, memory).
  2. Implement reusable components such as retrieval modules, validation agents, and evaluators for the platform.
  3. Integrate and manage third-party models (commercial and open-source).
  4. Design and maintain multi-agent and tool-augmented workflows for enterprise use cases.
  5. Work on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, memory management, and prompt optimization best practices.
  6. Collaborate with frontend and platform engineers to support usability in the no-code interface.
  7. Conduct evaluations and performance tracking of AI workflows in production.
  8. Stay updated on emerging AI frameworks, agent orchestration methods, and industry trends.
Requirements

Core Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 2–4 years of relevant work experience as an AI, ML, or Backend Engineer.
  3. Strong proficiency in Python, with exposure to frameworks such as LangChain, FastAPI, or similar.
  4. Hands-on experience building production-ready AI or RAG applications and working with APIs.
  5. Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
  6. Cloud expertise, with AWS as the primary focus (Azure or GCP as secondary).
  7. Understanding of LLM architectures and their enterprise applications.

  3. Exposure to frontend technologies ) or backend scripting with Golang.
  4. Practical experience with evaluation frameworks for AI safety and performance.
