Automation Developer – n8n &

  • Location: Remote (Philippines-based candidates only)
  • Hours: Flexible Schedule (Full-Time with 4 overlapping hours with the US)
  • Compensation: 80,000-105,000 per month

Our client, a fast-scaling platform empowering creators, brands, and communities to connect more directly and effectively, is expanding their automation capabilities. As part of their operations and growth investments, they're looking for an Automation Developer who can go beyond simple workflow builds—someone who understands both the power of no-code and the nuance of code-based custom solutions.

This role is central to building efficient internal systems and integrating third-party tools, APIs, and AI features to drive productivity and performance across the company. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain workflow automations using n8n and
  • Write robust, scalable custom logic in JavaScript / TypeScript (and optionally Python) within workflows
  • Build or customize nodes/connectors and integrate third-party APIs and services
  • Implement error-handling, retry logic, secure authentication, and logging practices
  • Document workflows, including SOPs, runbooks, and technical specifications
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing automations for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
  • Collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and data teams to identify automation opportunities
  • Stay updated on new features, tools, and AI integrations—and advise on how they can be leveraged

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience with n8n and/or in a production environment
  • Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills for writing in-node logic
  • Deep familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and data transformation using JSON
  • Experience designing resilient, fault-tolerant automations
  • Strong communication skills—able to explain complex automation logic to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven documentation habits (process diagrams, specs, SOPs, etc.)

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience integrating AI tools / LLMs into workflows
  • Familiarity with cloud functions or serverless infrastructure
  • Background in fast-paced startups or creator/social media platforms
  • Experience with Git, version control, or CI/CD pipelines for automation deployment
