Senior AI Solutions Developer

We are looking for a senior, experienced software developer focused on applied AI to help transform how DG3 operates. DG3 is a global provider of high-volume document production, marketing technology, and enterprise workflow solutions. Our business relies on accuracy, scale, and automation, and we believe modern AI can significantly improve how our teams work.

This role will focus on building AI-powered internal tools, agents, and multimodal systems, combining large language models with traditional software engineering and foundational machine-learning techniques. You will work closely with business users who rapidly prototype ideas using AI tools, while you own the final engineering, architecture, and productionization of the solutions that matter.

This is a senior role. You are expected to bring strong opinions on architecture, model selection, efficiency, and maintainability, and to clearly articulate those opinions from design through deployment.

Location: Pasig City, Metro Manila (full work-from-home)

Direct Responsibilities

• Identify and design opportunities to apply AI and automation across internal workflows such as document processing, data reconciliation, production operations, quality control, and internal support.
• Build AI agents and copilots that can reason over text, documents, images, and structured data, and can take actions via APIs and internal systems.
• Convert business-user AI prototypes (Copilot, Gemini, low-code automations, early prompt workflows) into secure, maintainable, production-ready applications.
• Develop multimodal AI solutions, enabling systems to work with text, images, PDFs, forms, templates, logs, and other real-world business data.
• Apply foundational machine-learning techniques where appropriate (e.g., classification, clustering, prediction, scoring), alongside LLM-based approaches.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and other grounding techniques to ensure AI outputs are accurate, auditable, and business-appropriate.
• Integrate AI services (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini/Vertex, Anthropic, or similar) into DG3 applications using modern SDKs and APIs.
• Establish logging, monitoring, cost controls, and basic evaluation for AI systems in production.
• Collaborate with other developers to define reusable AI patterns, libraries, and templates.
• Document solutions clearly and mentor other developers on applied AI and integration best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience as a generalist programmer, not just an AI tool user.
• Excellent working knowledge of C#, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience integrating large language models (LLMs) into real applications.
• Proven experience in production deployment of LLM-based solutions with demonstrated ability to maintain and scale systems in live environments.
• Solid understanding of basic algorithms and data structures, and the ability to reason about performance and correctness.

• Practical familiarity with classical machine-learning techniques such as:

• Random Forests

• Gradient boosting (e.g., XGBoost or similar)
• Neural networks
  
  (hands-on experience is an advantage, not a requirement).
• Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party services.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong engineering fundamentals: Git, testing, debugging, secure coding, and CI/CD basics.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience combining LLMs with traditional ML models in production systems.
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, or semantic search.
• Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or enterprise document workflows.
• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Background in automation-heavy or workflow-driven environments.
