Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Analytics Developer to support data engineering and analytics implementation projects. The role focuses on technical development across web analytics, API integrations, automation, and cloud-based data workflows. You will work closely with the Director and analytics team to design, implement, and maintain reliable data collection and reporting systems for multiple clients. Responsibilities:
  • Build, deploy, and maintain integrations with third-party APIs (e.g. Google Business Profile, Meta, Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce).
  • Develop server-side and client-side tagging implementations using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and server-side GTM.
  • Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) workflows using Google Cloud (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Apps Script).
  • Implement GA4 and marketing measurement solutions across web and app environments.
  • Build and maintain scripts and tools for data reporting, QA, and automation in JavaScript and Python.
  • Support the setup of dashboards (e.g. Looker Studio, Data Studio) through clean, well-structured data models.
  • Debug and resolve tracking, tagging, and API integration issues.
  • Maintain clean code and documentation for repeatable, scalable analytics workflows.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Apps Script.
  • Demonstrated experience working with REST APIs (authentication, pagination, JSON parsing).
  • Strong knowledge of GA4, GTM, and marketing measurement frameworks.
  • Familiarity with server-side tagging and data layer design.
  • Understanding of version control (Git) and API documentation tools like Postman.
  • Attention to detail, clear communication, and ability to self-manage project tasks.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Shopify, Magento, or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with Facebook Conversions API, Google Ads, and other marketing integrations.
  • Exposure to data visualisation tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of data governance and measurement planning.
