Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Associate

Job Summary

The FP&A Associate will support budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis for a group of retail companies. The role involves providing data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions and improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term plans.
  • Analyze actual results vs. budget and explain variances.
  • Develop financial models, dashboards, and scenario analyses.
  • Collaborate with departments to gather and validate data.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management.
  • Monitor KPIs and financial performance across brands and stores.
  • Support planning for new stores, product launches, and expansions.
  • Maintain FP&A tools and reporting systems.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities.
  • Participate in projects for cost optimization and business growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 1–3 years in FP&A, business analytics, or corporate finance (retail/FMCG preferred).
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Familiar with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • Retail/e-commerce experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory planning and margin analysis.
  • CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
