About this role…

The Paraplanner plays a key role in supporting financial advisers by preparing high-quality advice documents, conducting product research, and performing financial modelling. This role ensures compliance is maintained throughout the advice process while also providing administrative and technical support to the advisory team. As a Paraplanner, you will be responsible for managing client files, assisting with insurance analysis, and helping advisers deliver tailored financial strategies.

You will receive comprehensive initial training and ongoing support to strengthen both your technical expertise and software proficiency, ensuring you are fully equipped to deliver accurate and compliant Statements of Advice (SoA) and Records of Advice (RoA). This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within the financial planning industry.

As a paraplanner we are looking for the following core capabilities:

• Preparation of Statement of Advice (SoA) & Record of Advice (RoA)

o Product Research & Comparisons (using software)

o Strategy Formulation (Adviser directed)

o Financial Modelling (Software based)

o Insurance Analysis (software based)
- Provide administrative and technical support to the financial advisers
- Maintain compliance standards across full review process
- File Management

o Storing/ uploading of all relevant documents for the advice written to client folders (on software & on client file)
- Other ad hoc duties as required

We provide initial training and ongoing support to ensure the paraplanner has all the skills and knowledge (both the technical and software) to complete advice documents (SoA's & RoA's).
