Job Summary:

The Area Sales Lead is responsible for planning, directing, and executing effective sales strategies and programs to achieve and exceed regional sales targets. This role leads sales initiatives, manages resources, and collaborates across departments to drive growth, strengthen market presence, and ensure operational efficiency within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed regional sales goals.
  • Analyze sales performance data and trends to identify opportunities and recommend actions for improvement.
  • Ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives and promotional campaigns.

Market Development & Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct regular field visits to assess market coverage, understand customer needs, and evaluate competitor activity.
  • Identify new market opportunities and channels to expand the company's footprint.

Marketing Collaboration

  • Partner with the marketing team to implement regional campaigns and provide feedback based on market trends.
  • Recommend adaptations to marketing strategies to align with regional consumer behavior and competitive landscape.

Resource & Budget Management

  • Optimize the use of manpower and materials to drive cost-effective operations.
  • Manage and monitor the regional sales budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.

People Management & Development

  • Collaborate with HR in addressing staff performance through coaching, mentoring, and development programs.
  • Enforce company policies and cultivate a high-performance, compliant, and engaged team culture.
  • Ensure that all team members receive the necessary training in sales techniques, product knowledge, inventory handling, and customer service.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead the region in meeting operational targets by setting clear performance metrics, monitoring compliance with standards, and resolving issues proactively.
  • Support inventory management processes by identifying and addressing stock-related concerns.
  • Maintain and improve regional sales operations by completing audits, customer visits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform services for Biocostech Philippines Corporation, its affiliates, and its subsidiaries.

Job Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Marketing Economics, or any related course.
  • With at least three (3) years of relevant experience, preferably from an FMCG or related industry, is required.
  • Must be a manager specializing in Sales Development.
  • Has a keen business sense and can identify market opportunities.
  • Possesses strong leadership skills and has exposure to training management and providing coaching when necessary.
  • Advanced analytical with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions to identify opportunities for sales.
  • Good facilitation and presentation skills, conflict management, Interpersonal skills & building people capability.
  • With familiarization in handling FMCG Modern Trade Accounts, especially in skincare products.
  • Computer literate and proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
