An ECE Technical Officer is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic and communication systems, often includes tasks like installation, configuration, performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with relevant technical standards and safety regulations. S/he also acts as a technical expert for all aspects of electronic and communication equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, test, and maintain Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
  • Conduct site inspections and FDAS compliance checks.
  • Perform troubleshooting, testing, and system calibration.
  • Prepare basic inspection reports and as-built documentation.
  • Coordinate with clients, BFP inspectors, and internal teams.
  • Support related low-voltage systems when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of Electronics Engineering or related course.
  • Licensed ECE is an advantage.
  • At least 1 year experience in FDAS, ELV, or technical field work.
  • Familiarity with BFP FDAS requirements is an advantage.
  • Willing to do field work and site visits.
  • Knows how to drive or willing to learn. Company vehicle provided.
