JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cash Flow Management

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow to ensure sufficient funds for operations and investments.

Prepare, analyze, and submit cash flow forecasts and reports to management.

Ensure optimal utilization of cash resources and liquidity planning.

  • BIR Filing – EFPS

Prepare and file all required BIR tax returns through the EFPS platform.

Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant tax filings in accordance with regulations.

Coordinate with external tax consultants and authorities when necessary.

  • Costing

Analyze product and service costs to ensure accurate cost allocation.

Maintain updated cost records and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Provide reliable costing data to support pricing strategies and profitability analysis.

  • Importation and Duties

Record and monitor accounting entries related to imported goods.

Ensure correct computation and timely payment of import duties and taxes.

Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

  • Internal Audit

Conduct regular internal audits of accounting processes and internal controls.

Identify discrepancies, risks, and compliance issues.

Recommend corrective actions and ensure adherence to company policies and applicable laws.

· Financial Statement Reporting

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Coordinate with external auditors during audit engagements.

Analyze financial results and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to management.

  • Inventory Management Monitoring

Oversee physical inventory counts and ensure proper inventory procedures.

Implement controls to prevent losses due to theft, spoilage, or obsolescence.

Reconcile inventory records with the general ledger.

Ensure accurate inventory valuation and prevent inventory-related losses.

  • Production Efficiency & Waste Control Assessment

Review production efficiency, workflows, and process flow.

Monitor machine utilization, scrap rates, and rework costs.

Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve productivity.

  • Management Advisory

Recommend improvements in workflows, policies, and internal controls.

Suggest enhancements to ERP system utilization.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process automation.

Provide actionable financial and operational insights to support management decision-making.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certifications such as Certified Public Accountant is a must
  • Proven experience in accounting management or a supervisory accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
