2. Internal Control and Risk Management
  • Evaluates the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control systems.
  • Identifies potential risks, irregularities, or process gaps, and recommends corrective measures.
  • Monitors implementation of approved audit recommendations.
3. Compliance and Policy Review
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations.
  • Reviews internal policies and procedures to align with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Coordinates with external auditors and government agencies when necessary.
4. Reporting and Recommendations
  • Prepares comprehensive audit reports for management review.
  • Provides recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and financial accuracy.
  • Presents audit results to management and assists in corrective action planning.
5. Team Leadership and Coordination
  • Supervises, trains, and mentors audit staff to ensure audit standards are consistently met.
  • Coordinates with department heads during audit engagements to ensure cooperation and transparency.
  • Promotes integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement within the audit team.
6. Other Responsibilities
  • Maintains confidentiality of all audit findings and company data.
  • Performs special investigations as directed by management.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
