Job description:

We are looking for professional, organized and detail-oriented people to join our Accounting Department.

Accounting Assistant work closely with Bookkeepers and providing accounting and clerical assistance to their designated store teams. They further assist with inventory and record maintenance for their assigned stores.

Responsibilities:

Specifically, the Accounting Assistants will:

  • Update and maintain data files and records
  • Record, process and file forms
  • Assist their designated team in processing various transactions
  • Prepare checks, deposits, summaries, budgets, and/or basic financial reports
  • Trace, investigate and resolve accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
  • Perform other basic office tasks, including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, filing, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any Accounting related course
  • Highly proficient with technology and essential computer programs, such as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Self-motivated, diligent and organized, with good work ethic
  • Analytical and detail-oriented

Preferred (but not required):

  • Knowledgeable about QuickBooks Online
