I. JOB SUMMARY:

The Technical Officer supports field and technical operations by assisting in geological investigations, sampling activities, and hydrographic, topographic, and bathymetric surveys. The role includes processing and analyzing field data, preparing technical reports, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout project activities. This position works closely with survey teams, contractors, and project stakeholders to help deliver reliable survey outputs and maintain efficient project coordination.

II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in geological surveys, field investigations, and sampling.
  • Support hydrographic, topographic, and bathymetric surveys.
  • Process, analyze, and report geological and survey data.
  • Prepare technical reports and maintain documentation.
  • Coordinate with survey teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.

III. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Surveying, or related field.
  • 1+ years' experience in geology or survey support.
  • Knowledge of survey techniques and mapping tools.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and computer skills.

IV. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Proficient in MS Office to manage data, create reports and maintain records.
  • Strong in communication and organizational skills.
  • Customer Oriented by maintaining good relationships with the clients.
  • Time Management to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
