  • The Land Development Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on-site during land development projects. This role ensures that construction work is carried out efficiently, safely, and according to specifications, regulations, and project timelines. The Site Engineer will work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of land development, from grading to infrastructure installation, are completed to the highest standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate construction activities for civil works, including road construction, grading, drainage, utilities installation, and other infrastructure developments.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering issues on-site. Interpret construction drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure that all construction work complies with engineering standards, safety codes, and environmental regulations. Monitor quality assurance processes and rectify any issues.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations on-site. Ensure that all construction activities are carried out in a safe manner and that all workers follow safety protocols.
  • Monitor and manage the progress of construction work, ensuring that all activities align with the project schedule and that delays are reported promptly to senior management.
  • Assist in monitoring project costs, identifying potential overruns, and helping to keep the project within the established budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify any issues, and ensure the project meets quality standards. Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the required materials and equipment are available on-site, and monitor the quality of materials used in construction.
  • Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other professionals to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Work with local authorities to ensure that all necessary permits are obtained and that the development complies with zoning laws, environmental regulations, and other legal requirements.
  • Ensure that environmental regulations are adhered to, including erosion control, stormwater management, and waste disposal.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in site engineering, land development, or construction, with hands-on experience in civil works.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and land development processes.
    • Proficiency in construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
    • Leadership and team management experience.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Candidates must be willing to work onsite at MOA Complex, Pasay City.
