Responsibilities

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and debtor/creditor reconciliations.
  • Prepare and lodge GST, IAS (monthly/annual), and BAS (quarterly).
  • Accurately prepare Individual and Company Tax Returns.
  • Communicate professionally with clients via email to gather required information for accounts, tax returns, and financial statements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting role, preferably with exposure to Australian clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA qualification is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (MYOB, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
