About the role

Exciting opportunity for an Auditor to join the dynamic team at SOUTHERN ARMS CORPORATION' in Cagayan de Oro Misamis Oriental. As an Auditor, you will play a vital role in assessing the company's financial processes and internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and contributing to the overall financial health of the organisation. This is a full-time position based in Cagayan de Oro Misamis Oriental.

What you'll be doing

  1. Conducting comprehensive audits of the company's financial records, systems and procedures
  2. Identifying potential risks and recommending improvements to internal controls and processes
  3. Preparing detailed audit reports and presenting findings to management
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address audit-related issues and implement corrective actions
  5. Ensuring the company's compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws and regulations
  6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and regulatory changes
  7. Contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's audit and internal control framework

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant university degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  2. Professional accounting certification (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA)
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience in internal auditing or a similar role
  4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Effective communication and presentation skills
  7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  8. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
