Role Description

This individual will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with business acumen, enabling them to develop and implement innovative IT solutions that support the company's strategic goals. The IT Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in business processes and ensure the alignment of IT solutions with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate these requirements into detailed technical specifications for IT teams.
  • Solution Design & Implementation:
  • Collaborate with IT developers, engineers, and system architects to design and implement IT solutions that align with business goals, improve efficiency, and support business growth.
  • Process Improvement & Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization within business operations through technology. Recommend and help implement changes to improve workflow and efficiency.
  • Project Management & Coordination:
  • Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Use Agile or Scrum methodologies to oversee the execution of projects, manage resources, and track milestones.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Analyze business data to provide insights and recommendations that drive informed business decisions. Leverage tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to build reports and dashboards for senior management.
  • IT Strategy Alignment:
  • Work closely with senior business leaders and IT teams to ensure that IT initiatives align with the company's broader strategic objectives. Contribute to long-term IT and business strategy planning.
  • Continuous Learning & Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Proactively recommend new tools, technologies, and approaches that can improve business performance and drive innovation.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in IT support or systems analyst role.
