Position Overview

The Warehouse Staff is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching goods and materials in the warehouse. This role ensures that all warehouse operations are efficient, accurate, safe, and aligned with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving & Inspection
  • Receive deliveries and verify accuracy of items against delivery receipts/invoices.
  • Inspect goods for damages, defects, or discrepancies and report issues immediately.
  • Storage & Inventory Management
  • Organize and store items properly in designated warehouse locations.
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliations.
  • Ensure stock accuracy by updating records in the inventory management system.
  • Order Preparation & Dispatch
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer/branch/store orders according to specifications.
  • Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods.
  • Assist logistics team in loading/unloading of materials.
  • Warehouse Maintenance & Safety
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift) safely, if certified.
  • Follow company safety protocols and report hazards immediately.
  • Coordination & Reporting
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Logistics, and other departments on stock movement.
  • Submit daily/weekly reports on inventory status and warehouse activities.

Qualifications

  • At least High School graduate (Vocational/College level an advantage).
  • With experience in warehouse or inventory management preferred.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when needed.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse safety practices.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Computer literacy is an advantage (MS Excel, inventory systems).
