Job Summary:

The Stockman / Helper is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing materials, supplies, and equipment. The role also includes assisting in loading/unloading, maintaining stock records, and ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, check, and unload deliveries against purchase orders/invoices.
• Properly store and arrange items in designated areas for easy access and retrieval.
• Maintain accurate stock records (manual or system-based).
• Assist in inventory counts and stock audits.
• Issue materials to departments or workers as per approved requests.
• Ensure stock is handled carefully to avoid damage or loss.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods and supplies.
• Keep the warehouse/storage area clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior experience in warehouse/storekeeping/helper roles is an advantage.
• Physically fit to handle lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
• Basic knowledge of stock management and inventory practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
• Honest, reliable, and punctual.

Work Conditions:

• Warehouse/Storage environment.
• May require lifting of moderate to heavy materials.
• Working hours as per company policy, with overtime as needed.
